Role of the President
They will act as presiding officer, supervisor of all projects, and be
the official representative of their chapter.
Role of the VP
They determine standing committee chairpersons and assign
committee membership.
Role of the New Member Educator
They plan and administer a New Member Program that will
teach the New Members the ideals and standards of Kappa Delta
Chi.
Role of the Risk Manager
She will ensure proper risk and crisis management procedures
are being followed during chapter meetings and events.
Role of the Standards Officer
They will be in charge of a committee to uphold high Standards
and bring about corrections.
Role of Council Delegate
They are responsible for acting as a liaison between their chapter
and Council.
Role of the Secretary
She will record all the proceedings and transactions of the
chapter, and will also be in charge of all correspondence,
including a monthly newsletter, with Sisters.
Role of the Treasurer
They will keep accurate records of all receipts and expenses of
the chapter and make weekly financial reports at the beginning
of each meeting.
Role of the Historian (Chaplain)
They will keep an official record of all transactions and projects
(scrapbooks, fundraising projects, rush, and committees) and will
also be in charge of arrangements for pictures of the chapter in
their university yearbook.
Role of the Sargent-at-Arms
They are responsible for counting votes, calling roll and handling
all matters of absences at meetings and other chapter activities.
Role of the Service Officer
They will organize and implement service projects for the
campus and community.
Role of the Academics Officer
They are responsible for developing academic programs to
benefit Kappa Delta Chi Members.
