Ohm's Law
Resistance in a circuit is equal to voltage divided by current.
Equation of resistance
Resistance=voltage\current
Equation of voltage
Voltage = current x resistance
Ohms discovery
Ohm found that the current, voltage, and resistance in a circuit are always related in the same way.
Ohms observations
Ohms set up a circuit with a voltage of the 2 points on a conductor. He measured the resistance of the conductor and the current between those points. Ohm concluded that conductors and most other devices have a constant resistance regardless of the applied voltage.
Series Circuit
All the parts of an electric circuit are connected one after another along one path.
Parallel Circuit
Different parts of the circuit are on separate branches.
What are circuits made of
Batteries, energy, electric currents, a switch.
3 basic features that all electric circuits have
Devices that run on electrical energy, sources of electrical energy, and conducting wires.
