What is egotistical individualism?
Human beings as fundamentally self-interested, self-reliant and driven by the pursuit of their own happiness
What is developmental individualism?
Human beings are capable of personal growth, self-realisation and social progress
What is negative freedom?
The absence of external constraints, obstacles or government interference in an individual’s life
What is positive freedom?
The possession of the power and resources to fulfill one’s true potential (as given by the state)
What is laissez-faire capitalism?
Private transactions and businesses are free from govt intervention
What is Keynesianism?
Aggregate demand (total spending in an economy) drives economic output and employment
