Economic

• Roads, buildings, and other infrastructure can be damaged by extreme weather.

• Losses in farming, forestry, and fishing because conditions are changing.

• Governments spend more on disaster recovery and climate adaptation.

• Supply chains and trade can be disrupted.

• Tourism and recreation businesses can lose money.

Environmental

• Plants and animals may lose habitats and some species may become extinct.

• Oceans become more acidic, causing coral bleaching.
