Employment Act 1955
The primary labour law in Peninsular Malaysia regulating the relationship between employers and employees in the private sector.
Manual Labour
Work involving the use of hands or physical strength, typically requiring little education or skill.
Contract of Service
An agreement where one person agrees to employ another as an employee, including apprenticeship contracts.
Wages
The regular amount of money earned by a person for work, usually paid weekly, as defined in the Employment Act 1955.
