A phenomenon that occurs when hame gases, such as $HNO$, are absorbed during cloud formation, resulting in rain with an acidic pH.

Environmental impact of acid rain

Acid rain damages the environment by making water acidic for aquatic animals, which causes algae to overpopulate.
