What therapy do you give to a patient that has VT/pVT?

Start CPR (give oxygen)
Determine what rhythm the patient has
If they have VT/pVT shock
Give CPR for 2 min
Determine if theres a rhythm if there is shock
Give epinephrine every 3-5minutes for 3-4 rounds
if shockable shock
administer amiodarone

administer lidocaine

What therapy do you give to a patient that has Asystole/ PEA

Just epinephrine dont shock because there is no rhythm

30 compressions should be 2 inches deep
2 oxygenation breaths
should be 100-120 compressions
switch if necessary

What dose is given for epinephrine for VF/pvT and asystole/PEA?

1mg IVP every 3-5minutes

What is the dose of amiodarone

300mg IV+ 10-20mL of NS
150mg IV over 1-2minutes + 10-20mL of NS flush

What is the dose of lidocaine?

1mg/kg over 1-4minutes
Follow with infusion if needed to 1-4mg/min within 20minutes
