Scoliosis

Definition: Abnormal sideways (lateral) curvature of spine

Symptoms:

  • Often none if mild

  • Severe: back pain, heart/lung problems

Tx:

  • Braces / shoe lifts

  • Exercise / electrical stimulation

  • Severe: casting or surgery
