Vision statement
a short phrase conveying your dream or ideal future of your initiative. It is understood and shared by members of the initiative, broad enough to include a variety of perspectives, inspires and motivates all to get involved, and simple to communicate.
Mission statement
Practical statement describing "how" you'll achieve your vision (action-oriented). The statement is short, concise, one sentence, and about 25 words maximum. It includes who you are, what you're doing, and why you're doing it.

Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats
Objective
The ways through which you'll achieve your mission and vision. Provide focus and direction for your efforts. You should describe the following: what you want to achieve, the degree or level at which you'll achieve you'll achieve it; When you want to achieve it.
Different types of objectives
behavior, community-level, and process.
Behavioral objectives
seek to change behaviors or outcomes of behaviors
Community-level objectives
seek to create change on a large scale
Process objectives
Seek to create or implement activities in order to achieve change.
action step
Identify specific, actionable steps to accomplish your objectives.
Parts of an action step
the action, person(s) responsible, date to be completed, resources required, potential barriers or resistance, and collaborators.
