An expert on the history of the location that will offer their tour groups interesting or enlightening information about a point in interest at natural attractions, historic sights, museums, scenic locations, and other attractions

Urban

A type of tourism that takes place in an urban space with its inherent attributes characterized by a non-agricultural-based economy.

Internal Customer

Members of staff within an organization or an organization’s suppliers who contribute towards the service provided to external customers

Sustainable Tourism

Tourism that takes full count of its current and future economic, social, and environmental impacts, addressing the needs of visitors, the industry, the environment, and host communities

Car Hire

The renting of cars through companies that allow more flexibility than other forms of travel

When the trip takes place within someone’s home country

TIC

Travel information centers offer tourists a wide range of information about local areas and attractions

The basic structures such as roads that service the needs of tourists and encourage investments such as restaurants in the private sector or airports in the public sector

Less Economically Developed Country that has a less stable economy and less developed infrastructure
