I can understand the frequency adverbs, the prepositions "during", "from" and "until" and other temporary expressions.

Desde, hasta y de, a (y no se puede decir "desde .. a" o "de ... hasta." no se pueden mezclar.)

we never mix "desde" with "a" nor "de" with "hasta"

Nunca mezclamos desde con a ni de con hasta (this is a rule)

When using desde ... hasta... we need the article (This is only for intervals of time. We use the article in front of the time such as "las seis")

From the train station to the office I go by metro (use desde, hasta)

Desde la estación de tren hasta la oficina voy en metro (notice the article used in front of estación and oficina because it's an interval)

I work from eight to three in summer (use de, a)

Trabajamos de ocho a tres en verano (it's an interval but notice no article "las" in front of ocho and tres because we used "de, a")

From Madrid to Barcelona there is just over an hour by plane (use desde, hasta)

Desde Madrid hasta Barcelona hay poco más de una hora en avión. (not an interval so no article required in front of Madrid and Barcelona)
