A. a decrease in LDL or ceramides

B. a degrease in glycolipids or increase in cholesterol

C. An increase in free omega 3 fatty acids or increase in sphingolipids

D. An increase int erpenes or a decrease in saturated lipids

Answer: C

decrease in LDL will help withatherosclerosis as stated in passage, but not Psoriasis where it needs increase ceramids (A)

decrease in glycolipids doesn’t do anything as nothing is mentioned of it, while icnreasing cholesterol doesn’t help with atherosclerosis (B)

Phospholipids at higher temperatures increase fluidity as the kinetic energy of the phospholipids molecules increases. Adding saturated phospholipids (all with hydrogen) allow tight packing with other saturated fatty acids as it provides large surface area for london forces—> decreasing fluidity

Answer: And so, the sample with highest idodine value would be the 30ºC one. The lowest temp would decrease fluidity, having more unsaturated fatty acid would restores fluidity and it has double bonds.
