DUI

BAC
Blood alcohol content, a measure of alcohol concentration in the bloodstream.
Legal Limit for Adults
In Pennsylvania, the BAC legal limit for adults is .08%.
Legal Limit for Minors
In Pennsylvania, the BAC legal limit for minors is .02%.
Controlled Substances
Any substance listed in the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device and Cosmetic Act; zero tolerance applies.
Tiers of DUI
Three classifications of DUI offenses in Pennsylvania based on BAC levels: Tier 1 (.08-.099%), Tier 2 (.10-.159%), Tier 3 (.160% and above).
Look Back Period
