1st step for 3pt turn:
Get near right edge of curb (turn signal on)
2nd step for 3pt turn:
Make a sharp left to bring the car perpendicular with the curb
Star step for 3pt turn:
Turn the wheel all the way to the right (until it locks out)
3rd step for 3pt turn:
Back up until your knees pass the center line
4th step for 3pt turn:
Move forward in your lane
Instant failure on Road Test if:
A) Break a traffic law (speeding or not stopping at a stop sign)
B) Dangerous driving
C) Causing an accident while testing
D) Not following examiner’s directions
Your license is only good for 4 years and you can only renew:
30 days before it expires and 60 days after it expires
What is a GDL?
It is a graduated step to get your license
1st stage of GDL:
Driver’s Permit - you must drive with a legal guardian or adult 21+
(Must be 15 yrs. or older)
2nd stage of GDL:
Restricted License - Only one passenger can be non-family (Must be 16 yrs. or older)
3rd stage of GDL:
Unrestricted License - 18+ yrs. old can bypass the Stage 2 license
(Must be 17 yrs. or older)
Cancelled:
Happens if you lie on an application and is like you never had a license
Revoked:
Taken for a time, then you must re-test - occurs if you do crime & drive, have 3 reckless driving tickets, leave scene of accident, use an auto without permission
Suspended:
Taken for a time, then reinstated - occurs if you are in jail, H.S dropout under 19 yrs. old, evade police, street racing, unlawful use of license
