Deciduous
Refering to baby teeth or primary dentition.
Permanent
Also known as succedaneous dentition.

A tooth abnormality involving extra teeth beyond the normal count.
Enamel
A tissue structure that makes up part of the teeth.
Dentin
A tissue structure that makes up part of the teeth.
Pulp
A tissue structure that makes up part of the teeth.
Cementum
A tissue structure of the teeth that is also a component of the periodontium.
Periodontium
The tissue composition consisting of the periodontal membrane, alveolar bone, gingiva, and cementum.

Furcation
A tooth landmark referring to the area where roots divide in multi-rooted teeth.
Mamelon
A tooth landmark appearing as a rounded prominence on the incisal edge of a tooth.
