Where does the esophagus begin?
At the level of the lower border of the cricoid cartilage.
Where does the esophagus end?
At the cardiac orifice of the stomach at the level of T11 vertebra.
What are the three regions that the esophagus passes through?
Cervical part (neck), Thoracic part (chest), Abdominal part (abdomen).
