When you need to verify the primary ID and need further proof of identity
Customer Service Guidelines
Communicate Clearly (get to the point, but be polite)
Use “I” statements (focus on what you as the server can do rather than what the guest cannot do)
Good Examples of “I” Statements
I cannot serve you another alcholic drink, but would happy to give you soda or water
Legally, I cannot serve you another drink
I am concerned about your safety if I serve you another drink

Can guest legally consume alcohol? (List illegal alcohol sales)
Is the guest exhibiting any high-risk intoxication rate factors or behaviroal cues?
Do you have any doubts? If yes, don’t serve.
