seven “I Am” statements of Christ

I am the bread of life

“I am the bread of life.” Jesus told them. No one who comes to me will ever be hungry and no one who believes in me will ever be thirsty again. John 6:35.

I am the light of the world

“When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness, but we have the light of life “John 8:12.

I am the gate

“I am the gate. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will come in and go out and find pasture “John 10:9.

I am the good Shepherd

“I am the good Shepherd. The good Shepherd lays down his life for the sheep “John 10:11

I am the resurrection and the life

“Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me, even if he dies, will live. Everyone who lives and believes in me, will never die “John 11:25–26.

I am the way the truth and the life

“Jesus told him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through me. “John 14:6.

I am the vine

“I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me and I and him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without me “John 15:5.
