What are communicable diseases?
Caused by pathogens and can be passed down from one person to another
What are Measels?
A viral disease showing symptoms of a red skin tone and a fever. It can be fatal, so children are typically vaccinated against it. It is transmitted by droplets of sneezes or coughs.
What is HIV/AIDS?
Initially a flu-like illness that can be controlled by antiretroviral drugs. If this does not occur, the virus attacks the body’s immune cells, which eventually leads to AIDS, in which the body’s immune system is so damaged that it can no longer fight off any infections or cancers. It is transmitted through sexual contact and the exchange of body fluids. There is no cure for either.
What is Tobacco Mosaic Virus?
A Widespread plant pathogen that gives a mosaic pattern of discolouration, which affects plants growth due to lack of photosynthesis. It is spread by contact and vectors. There is no cure.
What is salmonella?
