Universal Precautions (UP)

The process of handling waste materials that may be contaminated with pathogens, following protocols for safety.
Chemical Spill Kits
Safety kits that contain materials needed to handle chemical spills, including protective apparel and nonreactive absorbent materials.
Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
Documents that provide information on the properties and hazards of chemicals used, required by OSHA to be accessible to employees.
Fire Extinguisher Operation (PASS)
An acronym for the steps in using a fire extinguisher: Pull the pin, Aim at the base, Squeeze the handles, Sweep nozzle side to side.
