The duct that carries urine from the right kidney to the bladder.
Right Reproductive Organs
Includes the ovary, fallopian tube, and spermatic cord on the right side.
Right Lower Quadrant
One of the four abdominal quadrants, containing organs such as the appendix and right ovary.
Left Adrenal Gland
A gland located on top of the left kidney, producing hormones like cortisol.
Left Kidney
An organ that filters blood and produces urine, located in the left upper quadrant.
Spleen
An organ involved in filtering blood and supporting the immune system.
Left Upper Quadrant
One of the four divisions of the abdomen, housing organs like the stomach and spleen.
Left Ureter
The duct that carries urine from the left kidney to the bladder.
Left Reproductive Organs
Includes the fallopian tube, ovary, and spermatic cord on the left side.
Sigmoid Colon

Left Lower Quadrant
An abdominal region that includes parts of the intestines and the left ovary.
Midclavicular Plane
A vertical plane that runs through the midpoint of the clavicle.
Right Hypochondriac Region
The upper right abdominal region, containing the liver and gallbladder.
Left Hypochondriac Region
The upper left abdominal region containing the stomach and spleen.
Epigastric Region
The upper central region of the abdomen, situated above the stomach.
Subcostal Plane
A horizontal plane that runs below the ribs.
Right Lumbar Region
The right lateral region of the abdomen, home to the right kidney and ascending colon.
Umbilical Region
The central region of the abdomen, surrounding the navel.
Left Lumbar Region
The left lateral region of the abdomen, containing the left kidney and descending colon.
Hypogastric Region
The lower central region of the abdomen, below the umbilical region.
Right Iliac Region
The lower right region of the abdomen, containing parts of the cecum and appendix.
Left Iliac Region
The lower left region of the abdomen, including parts of the sigmoid colon.
Intertubercular Plane
A horizontal plane that passes through the tubercles of the iliac bones.
