On this day, the Passover Lambs are processed into Jerusalem to see if they are spotless. Jesus is found to be not guilty = able to be sacrificed (spotless).

When an olive is crushed, it secretes its blood. Jesus is crushed by the weight of humanity’s sins and sweats blood.

No sin should ever make us despair that God doesn’t love us because He already has responded to each sin with infinite love for us.

It opens Heaven and enables friendship with God to surpass death and continue forever.
