Active Voice
The subject of the sentence performs the action.
Passive Voice
The subject of the sentence receives the action.
Simple Present Tense
Describes actions that are habitual or generally true.
Simple Past Tense
Describes actions that were completed in the past.
Future Tense
Describes actions that will occur in the future.
Example of Passive Voice in Simple Present
'The fire alarm is tested by the electricians.'

'Brian learned English.'
Future Passive Example
'English will be learned by Brian.'
