Paschal Mystery
The Paschal Mystery is the suffering, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ. It is the central belief of Christianity because it explains how Jesus saved humanity from sin and restored the relationship between God and people. “Paschal” relates to Passover, connecting Jesus’ sacrifice to salvation history.
