Concentration Camp

Camps that were established in the Nazi regime which became a big terror, control, punishment, and killing performance.

Discrimination

Treating someone differently or unfairly just because of who they are, how they look, or what they believe.

Fascism

A follower of an extreme political system where one leader or a small group holds all the power.

Fuhrer

A German word that translates to "leader" or "guide."

Genocide

Is a very serious and terrible crime that is targeted to a group of people that are harmed or killed on purpose.

Gestapo

Was a brutal and secret police force of Nazi Germany.

Ghetto

a part of a city where a specific group of people lives, usually were the people get unfair treatment.

Kristallnacht

A terrible event on November 9–10, 1938, when the Nazi government in Germany violently attacked Jewish people, their homes, businesses, and places of worship.

Lebensraum

A German word that translates to "living space", it was the excuse used by Nazi Germany in the 1930s and 1940s to illegally invade other countries.

Nazi

Was a member of a political group led by Adolf Hitler that ruled Germany from 1933 to 1945.

A organized, violent attack against a specific group of people.

Ration

A limited or set amount of something that a person is allowed to own.

Scapegoat

A person or group of people who gets blamed for a mistake or a problem caused by someone else.

Segregation

Keeping different groups of people or things apart for each other.

SS- Schutzstaffel

It was a powerful and dangerous security and military organization controlled by the Nazi Party in Germany from 1925 to 1945. They were used fulfill horrible things against the European Jews.

Third Reich

It was the name the Nazi Party gave to Germany from 1933 to 1945, when it was ruled by dictator Adolf Hitler.

Wehrmacht

The name of the military forces of Nazi Germany from 1935 to 1945, led by Adolf Hitler.
