Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP)
A Bluetooth profile that enables the wireless transmission of stereo audio from an A2DP source (typically a phone or computer) to an A2DP receiver (such as headphones or speakers).
Advanced Encryption Standard (AES)
A secure encryption standard used for protecting data, including data transmitted over Wi-Fi networks.
Automatic Private IP Addressing (APIPA)
A feature that allows a device to self-assign an IP address from the 169.254.x.x range when a DHCP server is unavailable.
Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)
A policy that allows employees to use their personal mobile devices for work purposes.
Cellular location services
