What is the definition of a noun?
A noun names a person, place, thing, or idea.

Declarative (states information), Interrogative (asks a question), Imperative (gives a command), and Exclamatory (expresses strong feeling).
How is a compound sentence structured?
A compound sentence consists of two independent clauses joined by a conjunction.
What is the difference between a complex and a compound-complex sentence?
A complex sentence has one independent clause and one dependent clause, while a compound-complex sentence has two independent clauses and at least one dependent clause.
