What happened in the Missouri Compromise, 1820? From powerpoint

Admitted Missouri as a slave state and Maine as a free state. Declared that all territory north of 36°30" would become free states, and all territory south of that latitude would become slave states. This agreement aimed to maintain the balance between slave and free states in the U.S. Senate.
