Book Review
Gives information about a book and tells what the reviewer liked or disliked about it.
Audience (Book Review)
The reader of the book review for whom the reviewer does not assume they know anything about the story or the author’s past works.
Convention
The language and delivery is clear and shows correct grammar, spelling, capitalization, and punctuation.
Introduction (Book Review)
Gives a general idea of what the book is about and how the reviewer felt about it.
Body (Book Review)
Details about important characters, setting, moments in the plot, and themes.
Conclusion (Book Review)
Includes the evaluation of the book and what you recommend.
Transitive Verbs
Dependent on direct objects to complete the meaning.
Intransitive Verbs
Independent from direct objects.
Action verb
Expresses action.
Linking Verb
Connects to the subject to a subject complement.
Helping/Auxiliary Verbs
Assists the main verb in expressing tense, mood, or voice.
Subject and Verb Agreement Rule 2
The words/phrases with 'as well as, together with, along with' are not part of the subject.
Subject and Verb Agreement Rule 3
Two subjects joined by 'and' are plural.
Subject and Verb Agreement Rule 5
Two subjects joined by 'or, not, either, neither, nor, not only, but also' use the verb of the subject closest to it.

In sentences beginning with 'here, there', the true subject is after the verb.
