Exchange of info, feelings, and thoughts between two or more people.
Why is communication vital in healthcare?
Improves results/empathy, reduces suffering, and prevents lawsuits (30% caused by poor comms).
What are the 4 steps of the Communication Cycle?
Sender (encodes) → Message (via Channel) → Receiver (decodes) → Feedback.
