What is Sin?
Sin is choosing to go against God’s law and love, which harms your relationship with God and your relationship with others. It is a free choice.
What are the types of Sin?
Venial Sin: Less serious, weakens your relationship with God, easier to repair through prayer and good actions. 2. Mortal Sin: A serious offense against God that completely breaks your relationship with Him; must involve all 3 conditions: grave matter, full knowledge, and full consent.
What is Conscience?
Conscience is your inner guide that helps you know right from wrong. You must form it correctly through prayer, scripture, teachings of the Church, and advice from trusted people.

You are responsible for following your conscience, but it must be well-formed.
What should Catholics consider when making moral decisions?

What are the sources of morality?
Moral decisions are guided by scripture, tradition, and Church teaching.
What is Temptation?
Temptation is being drawn toward sin; it is not a sin unless you act on it. It can be resisted through prayer, self-control, and avoiding bad situations.
