Dissociative Disorders
Conditions in which conscious awareness becomes separated from previous memories, thoughts, identity, and behavior.
Dissociation
A mental process used to cope with trauma, characterized by a disconnection from thoughts, identity, or memory.
Dissociative Amnesia
Complete loss of identity, memory, and personality characteristics that can be reversible.
