Eric Berne
The concept itself stems from Transactional Analysis (TA), a psychological theory developed by Dr. Eric Berne. In this theory, there are four core "life positions"

I'm OK, You're Not OK: A position of arrogance or superiority.
I'm Not OK, You're OK: A position of powerlessness or feelings of inferiority.
I'm Not OK, You're Not OK: A position of despair and hopelessness.
The Garcia effect describes
