Globalization
A process, condition, system, and force characterized by the interconnectedness of human beings and the shrinking of the world.
Globality
A social condition characterized by global economic, political, cultural, and environmental interconnections that make current borders irrelevant.
Globalization Ideology
A set of beliefs about globalization, including claims of its benefits, inevitability, and irreversibility.
Trans-planetary
Refers to social spaces or arenas of social life that transcend national boundaries.
Supra-territoriality
A condition where national borders become irrelevant due to global interconnections.
Economic Globalization
The increasing integration of economies around the world through the movement of goods, services, and capital across borders.
Silk Road
An ancient network of trade routes that facilitated the exchange of goods and ideas between different cultures.
Brandt Line
A visual depiction of the North-South divide between wealthy countries in the North and poorer countries in the South.
Global North
Developed countries, typically wealthier and capable of exporting technologically advanced products.

The process where international cultural practices threaten local cultures, often linked to the spread of global brands.

Major players in the global economy, driving economic globalization and accounting for a significant portion of world exports.
