Free Will
The ability given by God to humans to choose between doing right or wrong.
Purgatory
A state of purification for souls who need to achieve holiness before entering heaven, according to Catholic belief.
Resurrection
The belief, primarily held by Orthodox Jews, that the soul will reunite with the body at a future time.
Gan Eden
A term in Judaism referring to paradise or a place of reward for the righteous.
Eternal Life
The Christian belief that individuals will spend eternity in heaven or hell based on their actions on earth.
Judgment Day
The future day when God will judge everyone and determine their eternal fate.
Heaven
A place where God resides, characterized by worship, absence of suffering, and eternal life.
Hell
A place of punishment and torment, designed for Satan and his demons, and a state of separation from God.

The belief that striving for heaven is more important than any earthly ambition.
Temptation
The enticement to stray from God's path and commit sin.
