Covalent Compound
Also called a molecular compound, it consists of discrete neutral atoms connected by covalent bonds and is formed solely between nonmetals.
Molecular Compound
A term sometimes used interchangeably with covalent compound.

Covalent compounds that include carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids.
