Air Force Aeromedical Services Information Management System (ASIMS)
A web-based system that serves as the standard for unit commanders to access their Airmen's individual medical readiness requirements and ensure all requirements are current.
Individual Medical Readiness (IMR)
A program designed to ensure military members are medically ready to deploy, assessed through measurable elements such as Periodic Health Assessments, dental readiness, and immunization status.
Duty/Deployment-Limiting Medical Condition (DLMC)
Any physical or psychological condition that may prevent or interfere with a Service member's ability to perform duties of office, grade, rank, or rating while deployed.
Not Medically Ready (NMR)
An IMR category for Service members who have a DLMC categorized as temporary or permanent non-deployable, or who require urgent/emergency dental treatment (DRC 3).
Partially Medically Ready (PMR)
An IMR category for members overdue for a DoD PHA or dental assessment (DRC 4), or lacking required immunizations, readiness lab studies, or individual medical equipment.
Fully Medically Ready (FMR)
An IMR category for members current in their DoD PHA, dental assessment (DRC 1 or 2), immunizations, lab studies, medical equipment, and categorized as deployable.
Base Operational Medicine Clinic (BOMC)
The hub of medical readiness that oversees PHAs, deployment-related health assessments, separation health physical exams, and medical clearance processing.
Periodic Health Assessment (PHA)
An annual medical assessment that remains current for 12 months and is considered overdue if not completed within 90 days after the due date.
Dental Readiness Classification (DRC) 1
Status for Service members who have a current dental assessment and do not require dental treatment or re-evaluation.
Dental Readiness Classification (DRC) 3
Status for Service members requiring resolution of urgent or emergent dental treatment; these members are categorized as Not Medically Ready (NMR).
Dental Readiness Classification (DRC) 4
Status for Service members who are overdue for their annual dental readiness assessment; these members are categorized as Partially Medically Ready (PMR).
Personnel Reliability Assurance Program (PRAP)
The overarching designation for the Air Force’s two nuclear reliability programs: the Personnel Reliability Program (PRP) and Arming and Use of Force (AUoF).
Air Force Form 469
The official document used to record a Duty Limiting Condition (DLC) that prevents a member from performing requirements of military service or duties of their AFSC.
Assignment Availability Code (AAC) 31
A code placed on a member with a temporary medical condition that will be resolved in less than 12 months.
Assignment Availability Code (AAC) 37
A code assigned to members with a medical condition that causes physical limitations for more than 365 consecutive days and who are identified for a medical evaluation board.
Assignment Availability Code (AAC) 81
A code assigned to female Airmen who are medically confirmed as pregnant.
Airmen Medical Readiness Optimization (AMRO) Board
A board that meets to review personnel with DLCs affecting mobility, retention, or fitness and manages Airmen with mobility restrictions.
Disability Evaluation System (DES)
A system used to remove members who can no longer perform military duties because of a mental or physical condition.
Medical Evaluation Board (MEB)
The first step in the evaluation process to determine if a Service member meets retention standards and is worldwide qualified.
Physical Evaluation Board Liaison Officer (PEBLO)
An experienced personnel who counsels Service members on the DES process, coordinates disability-related appointments, and oversees case files.
Assignment Limitation Code (ALC)
A code that restricts or limits the selection of Airmen for assignment to or from certain duties or areas based on medical conditions.
Temporary Disability Retired List (TDRL)
A list for members whose disability is permanent in character but not stable in degree, allowing for observation and re-evaluation at least once every 18 months.
DD Form 2766
The Adult Preventive and Chronic Care Flowsheet, used to document medical and dental care particularly when electronic health record systems are unavailable.
DD Form 1380
The Tactical Combat Casualty Care Card used to record a member's care during contingency situations.
DD Form 689
The Individual Sick Slip used to document a patient's quarters status when ASIMS is unavailable or when working with another service branch.
