Pre-Departure EFB Procedure

Update MyFlight-R, place the Inflight EFB in Airplane Mode, and stow it (including the carry case) for Taxi and Take-off.

Inflight MyFlight-R Usage

Use the device to conduct the flight service, record sales, and assist passengers.

Approach Phase (After In-Range Call)

Update MyFlight-R, provide connecting gate assignments, and stow the device for landing and taxi-in.

FWD FA Approach Duties

Inform First Class passengers of connecting gates and return coats using MyFlight-R.

AFT FA Approach Duties

Provide connecting gate assignments to EP/KEY and others as time permits using MyFlight-R.

Post Arrival MyFlight-R Tasks

Close MyFlight-R once passengers have deplaned to automatically transmit flight data, then setup for the next flight or exit.

Loaner Device Policy

Devices available to check out at each domicile if a Flight Attendant has a need.

Deviation

A company-issued instruction that must be followed as posted; however, it will not be issued for Inflight EFB issues.
