who is this person

I’m going to talk about one of my close friends, who has the ability to think outside of the box — Huy

He is a very creative person, who always comes up with new solutions. — and his daring and cleverness have helped us to overcome lots of difficult problems.

what the problem was

I remember that it was a project in university and we had to give a presentation on the advertising strategy of an education center.

We were inexperienced at that time so we didn’t know how to collect information from that company. We did try to look up in the internet but we couldn’t find any useful or reliable information. To a point, our members were desperate and didn’t know what to do next.

how he solved it

Then, Huy suggested that we could directly contact that center and ask them for what we needed. He somehow managed to find the contact information of the company through an acquaintance in a speaking contest that he won last month.

After that, we gave them a call and fortunately, they were eager to tell us about their business performance when they knew that we were struggling to find information for a school project.

why he did it in a smart way

while other members didn’t have the guts to solve the problem directly and struggled to find another solution

his daring and bold approach helped us get the necessary content. In the end, we passed the course with flying colors as the information that we received was very detailed and up-to-date.

Do you think children are born smart or they learn to become smart?

I think it’s a combination of both nature and nurture.

  • Some children may be born with certain cognitive advantages, such as strong memory or quick reasoning skills.

  • However, intelligence isn’t fixed at birth. A stimulating environment, supportive parenting, and quality education play a crucial role in developing those abilities.

so overall, ones can have inherent advantages, but whether they can flourish or not depends largely on oneself and their surrounding environments.

How do your children become smart at school

at school, children tend to thrive academically when they are actively engaging rather than passively absorbing information.

  • Effective teaching methods, such as encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving, can enhance intellectual growth.

  • Moreover, peer interaction also matters, as discussions and collaboration can expose students to diverse perspectives, ultimately broaden their horizons

Why are some people well rounded and others only good at one thing

i think it is due to personality.

  • Some people naturally have a wide range of interests and simply enjoy different fields, which helps them to develop various skills.

  • Others may prefer to focus on one area only and refine their expertise to a high level.

i think neither approach is better—it simply reflects different learning styles and personal choices.

in the end, Society benefits from both specialists and generalists.

Why does modern society need talents of all kinds?

Modern society is highly complex and interconnected, so it requires expertise across multiple fields.

  • No single discipline can fully address today’s challenges, as issues like climate change, or technological innovation often overlap and require input from various experts.

If everyone pursued the same path, social progress would be stagnant. — while diversity in talents can create more promising solutions, needed for a sustainable progress

Do you think smart children are happier than other children?

Not necessarily.

While academic ability may bring a sense of achievement, it can also come with higher expectations and pressure. Some gifted children may also feel isolated as they struggle to relate to peers.

Happiness depends on emotional intelligence, friendships, and self-esteem rather than intelligence alone. In fact, these things may play a more significant role in their long-term mental well-being

Is it important for schools to identify and develop each students’ talents?

Yes, I believe it is essential. Every child has unique strengths, whether academic, artistic, or practical.

If schools focus solely on standardized measures of success, many talents may go unnoticed. — By identifying and nurturing individual abilities, schools can help students find their suitable directions.

Of course, this requires resources and flexible curricula, but in the long run, it leads to a more inclusive and dynamic society.
