Directed Numbers
Numbers that have both a magnitude and a direction, represented as either positive or negative.
Sample Space Diagram
A table or diagram showing all the possible outcomes for a given set of conditions, such as the product of results from two different dice.
Improper Fraction
A fraction where the numerator is greater than or equal to the denominator, such as 49.
Mixed Number
A value represented as a combination of a whole number and a proper fraction, such as 194.
Equivalent Fractions
Fractions that express the same value or proportion even though they have different numerators and denominators.
Grouped Data
Data that has been organized into classes or categories, often shown as ranges such as 5<h≤10, to simplify calculations and analysis.
Frequency Table
A table used in statistics to display how many times each value or range of values occurs in a dataset.
Equilateral Triangle
A triangle characterized by having three equal sides and three equal angles, each measuring 60∘.
Right-angled Triangle
A triangle that contains exactly one interior angle measuring 90∘.
Percentage
A way of expressing a number as a fraction of 100, represented by the symbol %.
Decimal
A number in the base-10 system, often used expressing parts of a whole using a decimal point.
Angles on a Straight Line
A geometric fact stating that the sum of angles that meet at a point on a straight line is always 180∘.
