Nature of the Flaw

Studies, experiments, data, and records can be flawed and thus fail to provide the truth. Experts, claims, and beliefs can be wrong and thus fail to provide the truth.

These arguments ignore the possibility that the source of the information may be providing bad information. In other words, they trust information for no reason for poor reasons.
