The art of many different types of persuasion.
Forensics (judicial rhetoric)

Symboleticon (deliberative rhetoric)
Focuses on the best way to accomplish change and discusses future implications.
Ethos
A persuasive appeal that convinces the audience of the speaker's credibility.
Logos
A persuasive appeal that uses logic or reason, including analogies, examples, and citations of statistics.
Pathos
A persuasive appeal that appeals to emotion, often considered the most effective but can be unpredictable.
