Computer System Basics

Vocabulary terms covering the fundamental components, categories, and types of computer systems as described in the lecture notes.

Computer

A system consisting of several important parts that work together.

Three Main Parts of a Computer System

Hardware (Perangkat Keras), Software (Perangkat Lunak), and User (Pengguna).

Hardware (Perangkat Keras)

All physical parts of the computer that can be seen and touched.

Input Device (Perangkat Masukan)

A hardware group used to give commands.

Processing Device (Perangkat Pemroses)

The 'brain' of the computer that processes and thinks about commands.

Output Device (Perangkat Keluaran)

A hardware group used to display results.

Storage Device (Perangkat Penyimpanan)

A hardware group used for storing data.

Software (Perangkat Lunak)

A collection of programs or directions that instruct the hardware and cannot be touched physically.

Operating System (Sistem Operasi)

The main manager that manages the entire computer.

Application Program (Program Aplikasi)

Programs designed for specific tasks, such as a game application.

User (Pengguna)

The human who uses or operates the computer; without them, the computer is just a useless dead object.
