What is a preposition?
a word that shows how a noun or pronoun is connected to another word in a sentence.

What is a prepositional phrase?
a group of words that begins with a preposition and ends with its object.

appears as part of the sentence and is not set off with commas
opening prepositional phrase
at the begining of the sentence, set off with commas
