Pathology
A branch of medical science that deals with the causes and effects of diseases.
Normal Variant
An anatomical or physiological difference that does not indicate a disease.
Sonography
An imaging technique that uses ultrasound to visualize internal body structures.
Dilated Umbilical Vein
A condition characterized by an enlarged umbilical vein, often seen in fetuses.
Liver Pathology
Any disease or condition affecting the liver.
Pancreatitis
Inflammation of the pancreas that can cause serious abdominal pain.
Biliary Tract
The system of ducts that transport bile from the liver to the duodenum.
Neoplasm
An abnormal growth of tissue, which can be benign or malignant.
Echotexture
The texture or pattern of echoes returning from tissues during sonography.
Artifact
An error or distortion in imaging caused by technical factors.
