What type of microscope is used in most science classes?
The arm and the base
What should you carry the microscope by?
Turn on the light and open the diaphragm
What do you do once you’ve positioned the microscope on the table?
The scanning lens objective, then move the stage all the way back.
When focusing a specimen, you should always start with what?
Nose piece
The objectives are attached to what part of the microscope? (Can also be rotated to click lenses into place.)
A microsc
Fine adjustment knob
When using the high power (H.P.) objective, what is the only knob you should use?
First turn on the light, second adjust the diaphragm, third bring the state up, and fourth put your specimen in the light
What are four things you are to do to find something under the microscope?
