Censorship

Limiting access to materials that are considered offensive or a threat to security. People may also be restricted in their speech by censorship laws.

Discrimination

Acts of treating groups, or individuals differently based on prejudice.

Extremism

Believing in, supporting and acting upon ideas that are very far from what most people consider correct or reasonable.

Human Rights

Basic entitlements of all human beings, given to them simply because they are human.

Personal Conviction

Something a person strongly feels or believes in.

Prejudice

Pre - Judging; Judging people to be better or worse without cause.

Relative Poverty

When someone has less money in society than other people.

for example; earning less than the average income.

Absolute Poverty

A state of deprivation. Where someone cannot meet the most basic of their human needs.

Social Justice

Making society fair by treating everyone equally, respecting differences, and giving everyone the same rights and opportunities.
