What does occurs in LSU?

  1. Analyse crime scene print on its own while looking for + recording unique features + deciding if theres enough detail to make comparison.

  2. Later, add extra information in order of importance to the case to help make a comparison.

  3. The experts can then revisit + add to their analysis but cant delete or make changes to initial interpretations. They can also say how confident they are in saying its a match or not.
