Force
is a push or pull interaction between objects that can change an objects velocity, direction, or shape
Motion
is the act or process of changing position or place
Rotation
is the circular movement of an object around a central point or axis
Sagittal Plane
is a vertical, longitudinal anatomic plane that divides the body or organs into right and left sections.
Frontal Plane
is a vertical imaginary plane that divides the body or body parts into front (anterior) and back (posterior) sections.
Transverse Plane
is an anatomical plane that divides the body into top (superior) and bottom (inferior) sections
Upper Body
Refers to the part of the human body situated above the waste, typically including the chest, back, shoulders, arms and neck.
Lower Body
Refers to the part of the human body extending from the waste down, encompassing the pelvis, hips, buttocks and legs
Balance
The ability to remain upright, often managed by the inner ear, eyes and muscles.
Coordination
The smooth and controlled movements of the body involving the muscles and limbs.
Body Positioning
is standing upright and facing forward with each arm hanging on either side of the body, and the palms facing forward
Specificity
is the quality of being precise, exact, and detailed rather than general or vague.
Overload
Refers to placing excessive load, burden or amount of something onto a person, machine or system which exceeds its capacity to function properly.
Progression
is the act of moving forward, advancing or developing in a series of stages.
Range of Motion
Means the extent or limit to which a part of the body can be moved around a joint or a fixed point.
Center of Gravity
Refers to a point on the body where the weight is concentrated.
