C1 Nerve (Innervation)

• Travles with cranial nerve CN Xll to innervate geniohyoid and thyrohyoid muscles

• From C3 to C4, are anterior, middle, and posterior sensory nraches to skin over clavicle and shoulder region

• SUPRACLAVICULAR NERVE

Ansa Cervicalis

• Is C1-C3 loop that sends motior branches to infrahyoid muscles

• From C3 to C5, the motor and sensory nerve to diaphragm

• PHRENIC NERVE

Lesser Occipital

• From C2, is a sensory to neck and scalp posteiror to ear

• From C3 to C5, the motor and sensory nerve to diaphragm

• MOTOR BRANCHES

Great Auricular

From C2 to C3,is sensory over partoid gland, and posterior ear

• small twigs that supply scalene muscles, levator scap, and prevertebral branches

• MOTOR BRANCHES

Transverse cervical

From C2 to C3 is a sensory to anterior trangle of neck

• small twigs that supply scalene muscles, levator scap, and prevertebral branche
